W. Scott Perry, P.Eng, RCDD is an electrical engineer licensed to practice in Nova Scotia and Alberta, a Registered Communication Distribution Designer and holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management. Scott has over 30 years of experience as the technical expert in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical building systems. Scott’s understanding of electrical systems began as a licensed refrigeration mechanic and President of Domestic Appliance Sales and Service Limited. His work experience includes Project Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer with the Province of Nova Scotia and as a Consulting Engineer with electrical design experience in areas of both power distribution and information transportation systems for industrial, institutional and commercial facilities. He has expertise in Arc Flash investigation and provides training in Arc Flash awareness.
Scott’s gregarious nature has helped him build effective and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. He has served as the Chair and Treasurer for the IEEE Canadian Atlantic. Since joining the Contrast Team, Scott has used his unique combination of technical skills to investigate and provide his expertise in several complex electrical losses.
