Frank C. S. Lockyer P.Eng.
Senior Civil/Structural Engineer
Frank is a licensed professional engineer. Frank obtained his Civil Engineering degree in 1976 from Dalhousie University and has worked in Atlantic Canada since that time. Frank started his engineering career with Rayar Scientific as an engineer and now has 40+ years of continuous experience in land development, municipal services, environmental engineering and structures (primarily industrial and marine).
Frank has worked on many large projects throughout the HRM. Most notably, as the Project Engineer for Phase 1 of Cresthaven Estates and as the Design Engineer for Phase 2, a Project Manager for the development of Stanley Park – 100-acre subdivision in Halifax, and as the Project Manager for the detail design and technical specification phases of the Halifax Harbour Cleanup.
In 1993 Frank formed Lockyer Engineering Co., and in 1995 started his consulting services with Walter’s Forensic Engineering. Frank then joined the Contrast Team (formerly Walter’s) in 2001 and has been with us ever since that time. He has performed hundreds of assessments on foundations, structures and pipelines throughout the Atlantic Provinces.
Frank has been accepted as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. He is licensed to practice in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland Labrador.
Frank lives in Halifax with his wife Shirley. In his spare time Frank enjoys spending time traveling and RVing.
